Capturing ECC Global Settings in BW

Some common Master Data such as Fiscal Year Variant or Calendar year can not updated through a transformation, instead, the datasource has a provision in updating these specific infoobjects.

1. Go to Data Warehousing Workbench (RSA1)
2. Click on Source Systems
3. Look for the source system where you’re extracting data, right click, then click on transfer global settings.
   
   
   
   
   
4. Click on the following checkboxes or any of the options you need updating. On Mode, select Update Tables. Click on Execute Afterwards.
