Hi Guys, I've been playing this game by Kairosoft called Cafeteria Nipponica and I've got to say, I'm hooked.
I've been reading guides especially the one from Enna's Blog. The information contained in this blog is very helpful and it has helped me in achieving the best results.
This is my little guide and I hope would give a little insight on Customer Popularity.
Customer Popularity affects the following:
1.) Number of customers going inside a restaurant - More customers, more income.
2.) The rate of a particular group would visit your restaurant - The more times a particular customer for a particular group visits, the more chances the points will increase for that customer which has been unlocked.
A Customer Popularity rating is categorized by the six customer groups in the game.
The Customer Popularity is divided into two parts, the green represents Region Population and the pink bar represents Store Popularity. The bar will max out at when the popularity reaches 100, but the numbers can go beyond 100.
The green part is increased by the following:
1.) Store Area - You can check this by Going to View Info > Area > Touch a Particular Area, then Scroll Down on the message bar.
2.) Remodel Store Items (Floor / Register / Wall) - This is accessible when you have the Remodel Store Plan.
3.) Employee Skills - Employee Floor Skills will increase the popularity of a particular customer group.
The pink bar is increased by decorations. This includes tables.
Based on my observations, you need at least 100 to ensure that you're inviting all types of customers you've unlocked for a particular group.
The amount of popularity given by these items are represented as hearts for Store Area, Remodel Store Items and Decorations, and Skill Level for Employee Skills. Below is the popularity multiplier per given item type:
Area - 10 per Heart / 5 per Half-Heart
Remodel Store Items - 6 per Heart / 3 per Half-Heart
Decoration and Equipment Bonus - 2 per Heart / 1 per Half-Heart
Employee Skills Bonus - 10 per level of skill
Now have a clear idea on how customer popularity is increased.
I'll be writing another guide which focuses on choosing items and skills to maximize Customer Popularity soon.
Since we all love spreadsheets, like Enna does, here's a spreadsheet of all popularity. Hearts data for Decorations taken from Enna's blog.

Capturing ECC Global Settings in BW
Some common Master Data such as Fiscal Year Variant or Calendar year can not updated through a transformation, instead, the datasource has a provision in updating these specific infoobjects.
- Go to Data Warehousing Workbench (RSA1)
- Click on Source Systems
- Look for the source system where you’re
extracting data, right click, then click on transfer global settings.
- Click on the following checkboxes or any of the
options you need updating. On Mode, select Update Tables. Click on Execute
Afterwards.
Activating Settings for DTP Temporary Storage
This guide will show you how to activate the DTP Temporary Storage Settings. This is useful when checking for transformations made into data while loading from source to the infoprovider.
- Open DTP to be executed.
- Under the DTP Menu, click Settings for DTP Temporary Storage
- Change the check settings as shown in the
screenshot below
- Execute the DTP and you should see in the monitor the details of the error

Pure Black Brownies!
I'm here at the office now on a Sunday. It sucks. At least I'm not that depressed because I was able to make a batch of brownies yesterday! I bought stuff on the same day from Chocolate Lover, a well known supplier of baking supplies in the Philippines.
I got the recipe from the book my girlfriend gave me which contains lots of techniques and recipes. I had to scale the ingredients to fit the cake pan. Also, I need to perfect the dough before I put in modifications. Also, I decided to spike the batch a little, so I added my favorite alcohol, Rum!

No. 10175
So I'm still here at the office as I need to meet a deadline for our clients' reports. No pressure on my end. Still, I took the liberty to take a quick break to steer my mind of work for a while. As I went to my favorite convenience store to get an energy drink with added supplement that supposedly helps you trim down, I went behind our clients building for my regular Vaping break.
Whilist sipping on my drink and smoking, a group of call-center agents began talking about the new implemented Republic Act of the Philippines No. 10175, or better known as the Cybercrime Law. "Bawal na mag-like o mag-share ng mga comments or posts sa Facebook." (You're not allowed to like or share comments or posts on Facebook.) as one of the agents said. "Hindi lang sa Facebook" I said to myself, then... "Shit, I need to write this down!" So here I am now writing this post, sharing my two cents about the Cybercrime Law.
I've been following the developments. I've ignored the news during the onset. A week after it has been approved, it struck a nerve, not just for me, but the whole Filipino community, clamoring for a change in the law, claiming it can lead to abuse and misinterpretation when charged with the provision of the law.
So what's with RA 10175 that's making a fuss with Filipinos?

Food Cravings
Food Cravings, it's natural, we give in to that feeling to satisfy our urges, but sometimes we make the "wrong" choices.
So far, this list has never steered me wrong in picking right choices of what food to eat. Taken from Naturopathy Works
